Air Brakes & Tires In Red Deer
Your brakes and tires are the two things standing between a loaded truck and trouble. Quick Shift services both to heavy-duty standards for Red Deer trucks and Central Alberta fleets, so you stop straight and roll safe on every mile of Highway 2 and beyond.
Heavy Duty Brake Service
Brakes & Tires Built For Heavy Loads
Air brakes and commercial tires take a beating under weight, heat, and long highway miles. We service, adjust, and replace them so your truck stops the way it should, and you pass inspection without surprises. From Gasoline Alley haulers to farm trucks out of the county, Red Deer runs hard on its brakes and tires, and we set them up to take it. Worn brakes and bald tires do not just risk a failed CVIP. They add stopping distance exactly when a loaded truck can least afford it, so we treat every job like the safety work it is. Tell us how and where you run, and we will spec brake parts and tires built for real Central Alberta work.
- Air brake service, adjustment, and relines

Brakes & Tires FAQs
Common questions about heavy-duty brake and tire service.
How do I know my brakes need service?
Longer stopping distances, pulling to one side, air pressure dropping, or a brake warning are all signs. If it is due for a CVIP we will measure everything as part of the inspection.
Do you do air brake adjustments?
Yes. Adjustment, chamber and valve service, slack adjusters, and full relines. Air brakes have to be within spec to stay road-legal.
Can you supply and install commercial tires?
We do. Tell us the size and where the tires run (steer, drive, or trailer) and we will get the right tire on and balanced.
Can you repair a tire or does it need replacing?
It depends on where and how bad the damage is. We will inspect it and give you a straight answer: a safe repair when we can, a replacement when we can’t.
Will you handle brakes for my CVIP?
Absolutely. We do wheels-off brake inspections and repairs as part of the CVIP, so your truck leaves road-legal.
Do you offer roadside or mobile service?
Call the shop and tell us where you are, and we will let you know the fastest way to get you rolling again.
Do you serve trucks from outside Red Deer?
Yes. We look after brake and tire work for trucks and trailers across Central Alberta, from Blackfalds and Lacombe to Sylvan Lake, Innisfail, Ponoka, and the surrounding counties. If you can get it to the Red Deer shop, we can service it.
How long do commercial brakes and tires last?
It depends on your loads, routes, and how you drive. A highway truck and a gravel-hauler wear very differently. We will measure what you have, tell you how much life is left, and help you plan replacements before they leave you stranded.
